Why We Wrote This Book
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Aaron's conversations about retirement planning often followed a predictable script. “When do you want to retire?” led seamlessly to the perplexing, “What do you want to do in retirement?” He found himself in this loop countless times with clients and prospects, realizing most had a retirement age in mind but drew a complete blank when asked about their post-work aspirations.
What if there was a way to help everyone design their dream retirement before they even stepped into the office of a Financial Planner? In 2020 that very question led Aaron to co-author Laura Zettel-Watson, PhD, CPG, Professor of Psychology and Director of the Aging Studies Program at California State University, Fullerton.
As someone who published multiple academic papers, Laura was excited to use her extensive knowledge to write a book that would benefit everyone.
Together they wrote The Rewarding Retirement Workbook to make this a reality.
